well in an amazing turn of events USPS showed up with my package from japan in only 4 days with a sunday delivery(color me shocked)

and wow, only thing that suprised me even more is how incredably different these are from the 03-05.

right now LED modification is questionable. I have an idea that would be pretty awesome looking if it will fit.

These are NISSAN reflectors. not 3rd party aftermarket parts. as you can see they are DOT inspected(though to my knowledge, not street legal). but atleast they wont ever discolor or anything.

anyway just wanted to give you guys an idea of whats going on with them.

no, 03-05 used a different sidemarker. readily available from performance or courtesy nissan or any number of other aftermarket dealers. or if your looking for an LED reflector for a 05 check out www.rasecreations.com

these are a new part for the 06 Z. nissan changed the bumper and reflector design for some reason. no idea why, they are very similair in shape but extremely different in how their mounted and the way the reflector is set up inside.

I finally got to see a 06 at nightnext to me. the led's in the headlight housing are pretty damn nice and noticable also. Are you planning to stick with the 3 dot pattern from elsewhere in the car or are you going otherwise?

 

due to differences in the reflector design these should have a very unique appearance.

the 3 dot design doesnt really lend itself to the new reflector.

I wanted to make a white replacement to the amber LEDs in the headlight, but I havent been able to find the LED cluster available alone. the headlights do look awesome. even better if they matched the reflectors.

as it stands the 06 reflectors may become something of fog lights. I may offer a high output version just for that purpose.

 

I had no idea the new reflectors were so.. "3D" in comparison to the old ones.
