I bought a set from a member with the three leds in amber, added the evo-r rings. They are hooked up with the bumper reflectors, they are on when the lights or the parking lights are on, and blink with turn signal or four ways. I am very happy with them.

So tagged - can you do this with the bronze outer rings for the 35th Anniversary models - not many sold so it would be a special one-off. There's basically no way to tell the 35th's from every other Z car now that the special wheels are standard on the '06's.

Gee thanks Nissan

Congratulations on being an entrepreneur, I respect that. Hell, I admire that!

But I have to admit, these 3 led side emblem looks very classy with a hint of a light accent. Your product is a bit... much.

Maybe you can learn from this and make a scaled down version? Maybe make it not so um... how should I saw this... Well, basically I think people would laugh at me if I had your side emblem on my car.

Why not be like China and copy the same idea except see if you can do it more cheaply and undercut their price!

Everyone is entitled to thier own opinion and not everyone has to like our product. That's what makes the world so great.

So, do people laugh at your emblems now? The reason I ask is, they will look exactly the same. You don't have to hook-up both circuits if you so choose not to. There are options here.

Once we get the pieces in our hands and painted, I believe A LOT of people will finally see the light. (pun intended...lol)

Yeah...I agree. That picture was taken last December (2004). There's been many changes since then.

boogiemyke - you are correct that Warren was the originator of these. And it is great that you, not only posted his handle but, placed a link to his site when you might be considered in competition for sales with z-sidemarkers.

Warren (aka "z327") has been making these for a couple of years now. He made my set (red LEDs) around then and they have been on my 350 ever since. These are high quality parts and I have not had a bit of trouble out of them.

You can wire them into either the parking lights or the blinker. I have mine wired to the parking lights so they are "on" whenever my light are on.

If you ask him he will custom make them in any color LED you like.

Why would anyone spen over twice as much ($180.00) for these when Warren can make them for $70 - 85?

Thanks for the kudos kitkos.

Yeah, Warren is a great guy. He's local to Dallas and is a VERY active member in the Z community. I met him a few times at some of the events here. I didn't know at the time that he was the one making those emblems. lol.

I don't have a problem giving links to other peoples products. I like to make sure that everyone knows about all the other options out there besides what we're offerring. As I've stated before...people have different tastes and may prefer something other than what we are making. Of course, I'd love for people to purchase ours, but that doesn't mean I'm going to bash anyone else's to try and get the sale. When it comes to people getting ripped-off by others marking it up 100% though...that's another story. Warren is offering them at a VERY good price, and everyone should know about it instead of spending twice what they should be.

Mike,

hehehe, got your wife replied on the PM from the other forum. I laugh so hard. Man, you and your wife still hate me for calling your produc cheap eh? well, at least you admit it too.

That is exactly what those are...cheap. If you'll notice...the circuit board is green too. That picture was of the first run of pcb's I had made. Since, they've been changed to white and 2 more LED's have been added to the center.

The plastic piece? lol...yeah...they looked like crap. That's why we went this route.
Can't blame me since i don't check out other forum and you just post the picture of your very first design here. Anyway, next time just talk to me. No need to ask your wife to do so. Kinda funny in a way. I thought we were cool. Guess i was wrong.

Here we go again.

You just can't seem to keep things in PM can you? You sent me a PM stating the same thing, and now you have to put it out here as well? What's your issue Alex? Are you lacking the intelligence to figure-out the right thing to do?????

Yes, my wife replied to you because I'm sick of dealing with your insults and slander. I'm sick and tired of you putting yourself on a high-horse like YOU are the "ALL KNOWING KING OF ALL THINGS". You're nothing Alex.

Are we cool???? NO! we aren't. The only way we would be "cool" is if you make a public apology for all the lies you've stated about our previous work along with an apology for taking it upon yourself to name a picture of our product "cheap" on a public forum out of spite for me not painting your headlights for free.

And you want a "discount"??????...after all that you've said????? ARE YOU CRAZY???!!!!!

Do you want to know what "cheap" is???? Keep up the slander and I'll bring it out into the public what went on behind the scenes regarding the headlight situation. That'll show everybody who's REAAAAAALLY "cheap". Yeah, you know what I'm talking about. I kept my mouth shut because it's not anyone else's business, but you can't seem to figure-out how to do that.

Keep it up Alex.

oh no...i'll just take a chair with a beer to see his blood pressure kick up.

btw, jinsei888, watch out. You're on his blacklist now since he put so much energy and sweet into that product and you called it gross? that is an insult to him bro.

ok Mike, seriously, if my comment on your product as it look cheap hurt you that much, i'm sorry. I'm sorry for saying the truth. However, when you show the latest picture of the product, didn't i say "I'll be the first to buy". I guess you didn't see that eh? I don't think i insult your product. You can't expect other people to like your product Mike. Especially, with the picture you post up (your very first design) and yourself admit it look cheap plastic part too.

as for the headlight, when i received it, both bulb loose up inside and the housing inside really scratching. I had witness. He is a member of this forum too. He can verify this for me. He is the one that let me borrow his headlight send to you. This could be UPS problem but at that time, you and your kiss a.s.s friend at other forum gang up on me. I ask if i can send back (i paid for shipping) and see if you can check and clean up the inside for me but you got so offsensived about it and refused to work with me. Many other members ask me where i got the headlight at and i told them i will not refer them to you (didn't say your name ) because i don't think you backup for your work or at least provide some minimum support for it. BTW, i PAID for it so don't even to there. Honestly, i put the headlight issue behind and move on long time ago. I would have the same comment on this product if they aren't from by you. Why can't you take it as a constructive input? Being mad and hold grudge is not good.

So once again, my apology to you if my comment for the zsignal hurt your feeling.

Nice try Alex.

Zignal comments: I don't take offense to people not liking them. Not everyone will. I'm VERY aware of that. Just like I don't like your body kit. The problem I have is with YOU.

Problem explained:

Alex sent me his lights without letting me know. He told me he had 2 sets to send and asked for a discount (pretty common thing for Alex to ask for apparently). I told him I would charge full price for the first set and then discount the second. ($250 for first...). Conversation kinda ended there.

I'm also dealing with other customers at the time and received a set of headlights for painting. The package wasn't supposed to be here until the next day, so I figured the shipper was ahead of schedule. Next day I get ANOTHER set of headlights. Now, I'm confused. How did I get 2 sets of headlights from 1 person. Then, Alex (Bubble) pm's me and asks me if I got his headlights. Ok...now it makes sense.

So, I paint his lights for him and they turned out FLAWLESS. I even dusted his amber bulbs silver for him. Alex had already paid $225 via Paypal at this point. Yeah, did you catch that? It's supposed to be $250 for the first set. So, now I'm out $25 already.

After I've painted the lights, I notify Alex that I'm getting ready to ship them back to him. He asks that I put an additional $1000 coverage on the package. This is not something that I've done and have never offerred to do it, but I give-in...again. The total shipping bill back to Alex was $44.46. Normally I only pay around $25 for return shipping, and that was something I took care of out of my own pocket.

Quick math:

$225.00
-44.46
$180.54

Yeah, Alex paid $180.54 to have his lights painted.

Now, I'm sure some of you are familiar with the turn-signal bulbs in our headlights and how they "snap" into place. Well, I am VERY aware of that and that is how they were re-installed after I dusted them. Now, answer this question...HOW COULD THE BULBS FALL OUT DURING SHIPPING????? BOTH OF THEM!!!!!! Our cars are rougher on the roads than a shipper. Yet, due to this incredibly VIOLENT trama the box suffered that made the bulbs fall out...they remained in the turn signal area and that is the only thing that happened? Why didn't the bulbs fall down into the bottom of the headlights? (1 + 2 doesn't equal 4).

Now, after he under-paid me, he gets his lights back and starts complaining on the forum about how they came out and that they had scratches on them. Oh wait...there weren't any scratches at first. He was complaining about "dust". So, I told him how to get the dust out by removing all the bulbs and using a hair dryer. (things coming together now? ) Well, low and behold...all of a sudden the bulbs have fallen out during shipping and there is a scratch on the paint.

I think everyone can put it together from that.

After all that, he then disputes his payment with Paypal and tries to get ALL of his money back. I explained to Paypal exactly what I've just done, and they DENIED his request.

I told you i'll pay you the $25 extra. However, your product so ****ty plus your attitude, you expect me to pay? i don't think so. The bulb did fell out of the socket during shipping and it moves around and scratch the part where you paint and even the housing itself. When i send to you, i pack it VERY WELL to avoid any movement, when you send back to me, unbelievable.

Why it is so hard for you just to let me send back and you can take a look for me?

The main complain i had for you is that you just brush off your hand once it shipped out. Your bad attitude and your high pride. The same as this zsignal. YOu just being very contradict to yourself. At one hand, you act cool and the other hand, you and your wife all pissed off because i said it looks cheap. Grown up man.

BTW, here is the picture i took when the light is on. All the scratching you see there is INSIDE the housing. NOT OUTSIDE.
