Default well...Finally got the ***** to black out my headlights

Hey everyone, i'm new here. I've had my Z for about 3 months its an 05 SB and I finally decided to take apart my headlights and paint it flat black. It came out awesome, but I justed wanted to warn anyone that is planning on doing this mod, once you take off the plastic lens and black out the chrome pieces, be aware that they will never go back the same as they were stock. there's a small gap between the hood lines and the headlights. Other than that, it should have came from the factory black! Lataz everyone..

Yeah definately post pics, and if you could share your method, and the paint you used that would help too. All the mods on my lemans sunset are black, and i think that may look pretty cool if i did the headlights.

for the paint, make sure you buy the heat-resistant paint (the one i've used before was called HOT PAINT). Otherwise, the heat of the lightbulb might mess up the paint in the long run.

I got so pissed at myself about how they dont sit flush anymore that I took out the headlights and disassembled the housing and re-doing the whoe mod... good thing is that i'm a pro at taking off my bumper and headlights in like 2 minutes

Great work! and yes... more shots during the day! Can you try to grab one from far away to see how this headlight mod sets off the rest of the car?

-how much did materials cost?
-what part of LA are you located at? (I'm from Torrance, South Bay Area)
