I'm thinking of putting an aluminum dash kit in my car, but all the pictures I have looked at look kind of cheap. Anyone have any input if they are any good or not, and if so know a good place to get them from?

 

I've seen a few aluminum dash kits in person & they do look kinda cheap. I'd also be scared of it peeling off over time. But that's just my opinion. I'd say you're better off taking your center console to a reputable body shop & getting it custom painted. I've seen this in person & it looks very clean.

 

I have the aluminum dash kit and it is cheap. I hate it and am currently looking to have it taken off if possible. Otherwise, Im just gonna fibrglass over it and paint the whole thing. Or, maybe just order a new one. I want this done....www.elegantwooddesign.com. Pricey, but Ive seen it in person and its amazing.

 

+1. i hate the dash kit that has the giant Z on the navi door.

if you really dislike the stock interior, get it painted. check out bubble's car. nicest interior i've seen yet.
