~!PHOTOS!~ Stillen Aerokit and Hood for S/C
Damn, Stillen can't seem to get anything right by the 350Z. I'm really, really hoping the hood is optional. The other implied drawback; the front strut bar must be gone as well. For me, that's more unacceptable. Looks like the screw-type supercharger is completely out of the question...unless perhaps it can be situated in the area to the right of the engine (intake-sde). Rather like this, except flipped:

Centrifugal may be possible, if not probable. Although you're stuck with turbo-like qualities (not necessarily a bad thing
). Another plus, ability to ramp up the boost!

perhaps for a roots type SC, but a centrifugal type SC doesnt have to be mounted on top of the engine, and has a bit better potential for a car with a larger displacment and doesnt quite need the low down torque the roots gives, IMHO
Im a little confused, the largest section of bulge is set back farther than the cut in the hood on the preproduction version...
on the other side, that WHOLE body kit(minus hood) is only 594$. thats pretty damn cheap isnt it? the nismo front is more than that...

ah, that wording is quite confusing, they just say nissan fascia, and go on to talk about front, sides, and rear. I didnt notice the part numbers for each, they dont give prices for anything but the front then.
It appears they probably made a whole intake change to set the supercharger directly up on top, instead of having it off slightly to the side like I remember the cut hood prototype version.
Just a guess.
Just a guess.

Let's see if JR or Vortech step up to the plate with something that doesn't need a bulging hood....
