How much and what kind of tint is everyone getting. I am prob. going to get some soon, just wanted to know some prices to base it off of. I have been quoted $140 silver reflectant and $100 for regular.

I paid 150(as did most everyone else in atlanta) for what I assume is regular smoke tint.

whe you go, be sure they will remove the door panels and get the tint to the very edges of the window. also you want them to remove the 3rd brake light cover and do the whole rear glass in one peice. this is what they need to do for you to get a good quality job.

as for percentage. thats up to you. 35% is ussually around whats legal, problem is, nissan tinted our windows from the factory, albiet a very small amount. but ifyou go into the place and get a tint of 35%, with the factory tint, you will still register as illegal. keep that in mind. 20% is a prett dark, but not incredably obtrusive tint. 35% is a tint, but you can see in and out without too much trouble. 5% is good if you dont want to look in AT ALL. you can see out during the day without trouble, but at night, its pretty much headlights only. 5% on the back isnt too big of a deal to me, at night the back window isnt so great anyway, but I personally wouldnt want anything darker than 20% on my side windows.

Same as ares Hot spot tinting in atlanta did my last week got 20% all around perfect 150.00

 

My fornt windsheild is 20%...... YEs the windsheild. I also got it done in aug. The first Z in St. Louis . No one has worked on one before. So it was all hand done. It tooks 7 hours to do. Plus The rest of my windows are 5%.... Which is illegal so it is going to run a little heavy on the wallet for a under the table job..........

I was at a shop, granted theyd done Zs before, but they did it all by hand, 1 peice rear, removed all the panels so no edges were left uncovered, and they did the visor strip as well for an additional 20$, Im sure they could have done the whole windshield for under 250. and I got 5% and 20%, which is all illegal.

 

I need a good shop in the East Bay [Oakland,Ca.] to do tinting.

They are in Northridge, (San Fernando Valley), so it's probably a bit far for you. CA Tint is the name. They offer life time warranty against bubbling. I've had other cars done there and have had no problems. Looks very good.
