Default The Best of the Best?

I usually am not into cosmetic mods, but I've seen a few rear wings or spoilers that really worked with this car!

After much searching and consideration, I've narrowed it down to the two best ones, IMO. One is more conservative and the other is more racey, but I like them both.

Which one do you think would look best on Silverstone?

The NISMO wing:

Or the one from Balsarini:

What do YOU think???

Add an option for the Veilside wing. I think that thing is slicker than grease!

Don't you think Nismo spoiler will obstract your line of shooting if the need arise to shoot through rear window?

Actually, I have already thought about that.

My last car had a rear spoiler which bisected my field of view.

It is not so much a barrier to me shooting, but rather identifying and targeting threats, if the situation arises.

The worst part is when you are checking-six for cops, and the spoiler blocks a white crown vic or the like, and ya can't tell if it is LE or some old man.

The one from Balsarinin or the stock Nissan spoiler. They are both subtle and add to the lines of the car in my opinion.

The Balsarini one is too close to the stocker to even bother imo.

This poll is the closest one I've ever seen!

Wow!

I appreciate the votes guys/gals!

I feel ya on the statement about the Balsarini wing not being worth the difference...but I like that conservative look, but with a little more flare than it has now.

I have not voted, as to avoid scewing the results, but I would have voted for the NISMO, myself. I still have too many reservations about going that far out with a wing like that.

I wish someone would make us a spoiler that duplicated the little ducktale on the Audi TT.

Has anyone seen anything like that yet?

I don't like spoilers for the 350z, they break the outline and flow of the back. However, i do like the Balsarini wing. The difference between the track wing and the Balsarini wing is that the Balsarini wing wraps around the curves of car, accentuating the curverture of the car, as supposed to the track wing that it just sits there on the center of the hatch braking up the soft lines of the car. IMO...having said that, i still prefer no spoiler.

..on a different note..those are the best wheels i have seen on the 350z, by far.. can anyone tell me who makes them and what model they are?

thanks,
Gerardo

Glad you started this poll for those of us a little more conservative. I've been considering both of those myself but was hoping something came on the market a little more pronounced than the Balsarini and a little more "connected" than the Nismo. I don't like the stock spoiler and like both of these. In my opinion the Balsarini gets my vote...but need to see the Veilside someone else mentioned if it is in this class of subdued spoilers. Anyone know the pricing on these for evaluation in the overall "picture"?

Thanks for the props!

And thanks to all who responded.
This poll is very, very close, with a slight advantage towards NISMO's.

I would like to see one similar to the Balsarini, but a little more pronounced like the one on the Audi TT.
That is my most favorite spoiler for these types of cars.

I'm still waiting and hoping for an alternative.

Often times spoilers from one particular car do fit and look nice on others. Have you gone to an Audi dealership to see if they have one is stock to set on your Z in order to see if it may accomplish everything you want? Might luck out that way....if you do, post a pic or two of it sitting on your trunk (of course put something down to protect first!)

Damnit! I knew I shouldn't have skipped so many classes of "Japanese 101"! I visited the Balsarini site and it's nearly all in Japanese...the text conversion didn't help me figure out how much they are. Can anyone tell me including shipping? Also would like to know the material...fiberglass,EBS,etc...?
Thanks...and if you have ready reference to the cost of the others discussed, please post also.

Sorry for all the posts...just kind of got caught on the topic! I just saw the Veilside version two spoiler and think it is a contender for me...it's a little more bold than the Balsarini, but is still contoured to the body of the Z. What do you guys think of that one?

Default veilside 2 spoiler

I think the ver 2 is too square and kinda looks a little weird or out of balance. Doesn't flow as nice as the Balsarini. I personally like the ver1 veilside the best.
