Default RAZO RA42 shift ****

Does any one have the RAZO RA42 shift ****. I can't find any pics of it installed. It's between the RAZO, Nismo GT titanium, or the Nismo titanium. I'm leaning toward the RAZO because it looks like it matches the interior better.

My roomate has a gunmetal one in his 240sx.

It feels awesome, especially the silky aluminum texture on it.

I say save your money and get the RAZO. Nismo ones are expensive as hell.

Do you know how hot it gets? I heard the titanium gets hot, but not as hot as aluminum?

aluminium loses heat faster than Ti ?
check the matter charts...
if you care about heat check which material loses heat the fastest, Aluminium or Ti...

Pure aluminium is a silvery-white metal with many desirable characteristics. It is light, nontoxic (as the metal), nonmagnetic and nonsparking. It is somewhat decorative. It is easily formed, machined, and cast. Pure aluminium is soft and lacks strength, but alloys with small amounts of copper, magnesium, silicon, manganese, and other elements have very useful properties. Aluminium is an abundant element in the earth's crust, but it is not found free in nature. The Bayer process is used to refine aluminium from bauxite, an aluminium ore.

Titanium minerals are quite common. The metal has a low density, good strength, is easily fabricated, and has excellent corrosion resistance. The metal burns in air and is the only element that burns in nitrogen. It is marvellous in fireworks.

So both are basically made of alloys...
so true heat conductivity isnt true to form...
but check out the price... aluminium is like half the price of Ti...
go for aluminium

I'll see how it looks. I really like the Nismo as well, but I like how the aluminum matches (I hope) as opposed to the ti. If the Nismo came in the other finish, I'd be all over it. I'll prob. end up with ten ***** before I find one I like.

I have a RAZO, i think the model your referring to. Its pretty cheap and nice...friggin light tho...108g i think. Downside...its a universal ****, you need to insert a plastic blank into the ****, then on you twist it on and the shifter makes groves into the plastic. Its held up fine for me. Make sure to put a dab of loctite on the screw for the plastic insert, it tends to work its way loose. Matches quite nicely.
