The annoying rattle behind teh AC controls was fixed! When i was putting in my HU i noticed the AC control box is long, weighs about 2-3 lbs, but is only supported on 1 side...ofcourse its going to torque back and forth when i hit a bump. I glued on 2 cotton ***** on the top and bam! the annoying rattle is gone! To get to the box, pop out the shifter console (by grabbing the shifter base from the rear and pulling up), move it to the side and look inside under teh radio. U'll see a white box. Unscrew the 2 screws that hold the white box in place, and glue cotton or w/e onto the top front of the white box, and put it back in. Put everything back together and itll go away

i already put it back together. If you open it up, put the cotton on the top part of the box. The top of the box hits the console so it makes a rattleing noise. Its not secure from the front so it wiggles up and down...

 

was your rattle changing and or coming and going with different RPM'S?
