I like th eidea of NISSAN on the front caliper, and Z33 on the rear. or 350Z on the rear. I definately want NISSAN on the fornt though.

I am working on setting up an account with G2 Caliper Paint and I will be able to sell the stickers and the paint as a kit. The kit is pretty expensive but it will last a very long time and definitely looks more professional in the end then spray paint. It will probably cost between $40-50 for the paint kit alone.

Hey, I am not against anyone making a buck, and I am definitely a spender of my hard earned money for valuable Z merchandise but is it just me or isn't $15.00 for 4 Small Stickers just a tad pricey?

How many people are already in? 10, 12, 14?

At $15.00 a pop?

Probably costs him less than $0.50 for 4 to make.

is it just me or isn't $15.00 for 4 Small Stickers just a tad pricey?

This is not a regular ol vinyl. Its a thicker heat resistant vinyl that costs more to make. All the machines we use are over $60,000 a piece.

I went around to EVERY vinyl shop in CT, ranging from the guy that does it at home with scissors and an EZ Knife just trying to make a buck, to bigger name shops, and all said that they would charge me upwards to $30! for just the stickers. The vinyl shop that I work with said that if I only got one set made, they would easily charge me $30. To spend $15 is nothing. I am the one who spends all day at the vinyl shop making $1000+ orders worth of stickers, sitting there for on average 5+ hours to just make a batch of stickers, cutting and what not. Plus, the computer work and stamps and envelopes and all the posting on these internet boards and labor time.

For $15.00 shipped, it really IS NOT a bad price. You will be spending more money worth on driving to the shop with gas, sitting there wasted possible time you could be working, and then driving back and labor time, you easily exceed $15.00. And thats saying that they dont charge you MORE than $15.00 for the stickers!!!

I have sold over 300-400+ sets of these caliper stickers and after hearing why the price isnt $.50, they totally understand. Its a $15.00 mod that you will only have to buy once, they wont burn off or melt off.

Probably costs him less than $0.50 for 4 to make.

I only make a few dollars off of each set that I sell, which easily gets taken up through labor time, envelopes, stamps, and such. Trust me, you guys are making out.

Any more questions and I will be glad to answer them to clear up any confusion

Sounds good to me. It's better if you can arrange for the paint and the stickers in a kit. I'll wait for pictures.

 

Ok guys, sorry about the long wait, but I am waiting also! I first waiting to hear what kind of a price I am getting with my contract with G2 Caliper Paint. I think Im getting a good price. Also, I have been waiting on my friggin vinyl shop to finally print up the stickers (I am getting a couple sets made as a sample and will randomly pick a person to send the stickers to, to reconfirm the fit of the stickers on the calipers as perfect.) If everything is perfect, then these stickers will be a go. I will be making a HUGE! order with the vinyl shop and we will go from there.

Anyone that is still interested or will be interested after pictures (thats alot of you) please atleast send me a PM saying that you are interested and if you were to buy these, what color/style stickers you would get so i can make sure I order enough.

Also, if you need caliper paint let me know what color you would order. I can get any color that they offer...
(Red, yellow, blue, silver, black)

I'm probably for sure gonna buy, but I just can't do it till I see the pics. Also, I would want the silver caliper paint. This is something I can do in a few hours, right? I don't have access to a garage space, so I'll be doing it all in the parking lot of my apt. complex.

As soon as pics are up I'm probably for sure in. I would want silver paint w/ either white or black sticker (not sure which would read better, but I don't want it to *shout*, you know what I'm saying. Just a subtle touch. When you do get a sample w/ pics, could you please post both closeup pics & a shot of the entire car. I would also say for your demographic decisions my first choice would be Nissan all around, but 2nd choice is 350Z all around.
