A while back quite a few vendors mentioned getting in some black hoses for the Injen's. I along with MANY others would really like to ditch red hoses once and for all. It makes me want to puke every time i open the hood. BLAH!
If you can GET these in, please post here. Also include a price if possible.
Thanks
Scott

I've asked this question to three vendors who frequently post on this site and two out of three (I didn't get a response from the third) mentioned that Injen is not offering the black connectors and silicone tube with polished intake pipe at this time. I offered to even buy the kit as is (with the red connectors and tube) and pay separately for the black and was told that Injen will not sell them separately. I thought Philip from Injen posted that we could get them in black through a authorized dealer but I have been told the opposite from these vendors.
Like yourself, I am ready to buy if I can get the black connectors with a black silicone tube. I will pay separately for these if I have to. Hopefully, somebody will get us some good news on this soon.

Yeah i ALREADY bought a red one back when they first came out. Its just not pretty against the brickyards.
Yes Phillip did say that, yet no one seems to sell them. Im just about ready to sell this intake.

why dont you just go to a hardware store that sells braided reinforced tubing, (home depot, or lowes) and buy a foot or 2 in black and cut to the length you need for your connections? Or try a pro shop or tuner shop in your local area for generic fittings? Is it really necessary to have the injen logo printed on them?
