LiNks

Kwame will always be easy to find just look for his lic plate (U H8NMY Z) backwards/reverse in your rearview mirror...

I take that back it's impossible to read a plate from 10-15+ car lenghts behind you... You're wright he's going to blend in with the other stocker Z's

400whp on a Mustang dyno at less the 7PSI? On a JWT kit? Even most of the Greddy TT people can't get that, and the JWT turbos are peanut-sized compared to them. Maybe with a very aggressive tuning it is possible, but another thing that I have learned during my conversation with Nick from PM, is that they only bolt on the parts and do no tuning whatsoever... Please clarify this for me...

Nice bodywork BTW...

Car looks incredibly clean and classy. That Aerosync bumper just looks hot on black Z's.

Well it's been nuts for me lately And I should have had it on the dyno a long time ago... But based on other our shop cars with less aggressive mods put out 413 to 420 hp... I have more aggressive mods, so 400whp is pretty much a conservative guess... You seem very very doubtful as far as the capabilites... That's OK I guess... The JWT TT system is a more efficiant system from the 350-500hp range... Don't get psi mixed up with cfm. The Greddy's sweetspot is a little higher. If Dynoqueen numbers are your thing, JWT mods the GT28R turbos for 600-700 power range...

The Tune that the JWT kit comes with is excellent for the low boost setting. We have plans for upping the boost, along with a motor and a new engine Mangement system...

This shop "Performance Motorsports" is the absoulute authority on the VQ platform. back by the worlds fastest Nissan period... Second fastest Import Period...If anyone doubts this. Step up.

If you want to run a TN kit or a JWT TT kit on your tune verses the manufactures tune on a stock motor go ahead... Cause through your readings on this forum you know more about turbocharging than Vinny Ten and Performance Motorsports...

A bit of old sarcasm never hurts, doen't it?
It is funny that AAM, Forged Internals, SFR, and countless others were very, very successful in extracting a ton of power out of the stock VQ, way past the manufacturer's settings. But it is unsafe because PM says so and they are the ultimate authority in the Nissans and the VQ, right?
SGP, SFR, Sharif were able to make way over 550whp w/out sleeving the block, but this also cannot be done. Why? You guessed it. Because PM says so and they are the ultimate authority in the Nissans and the VQ.
None of the people with TN kits (running stock motors) making high power have stayed with the ECU flash provided by the TN. But this cannot be done either. Why? Once again! Because PM says so and they are the ultimate authority in the Nissans and the VQ.
I can get sarcastic too.
And I would love to take my chances and have my 5AT car custom tuned with the JWT kit (which is possible according to the VRT, who, BTW, has enough trust in themselves to actually swap parts and tune for higher boost/power with the JWT TT). But since JWT markets the kit as 6MT only I guess I am out of luck unless I ship the car all the way San Diego and have the VRT work on it.
And speaking about the tranny, a while ago I asked the PM about a valve body swap. They said that they can take the tranny out and put it back in, but they are not touching the inside of it. I got more stories...
I guess that it takes nothing but simple bolt ons to make the world's fastest Nissan. It is rather amusing that the PM's sales pitch is "we use our knowledge from drag racing in serving our customers", but I guess that all that they learned from drag racing is to just bolt stuff on... Or not?

WOW WOW WOW..... Oleg Seriously Don't believe everything you read... All I can say there is the forum world and the real world where things break... Me and Vinny talk sales, and sales marketing about two or three times a week.... The one thing he does not want to do is put crazy amount of HP on stock internals, can we do it of course we can... (They build 1800hp cars!!!) Does he want to? No... Yes of course you have people running big numbers on stock internals... But for how long Vinny cares about cycle life... Building an engine that far exceeds OEM standards.... There is a reason why his Supras he's build from back in the day don't come in the shop, for other than basic maintaince... He rather turn away business. Than go the rought that others choose....

You want to take a risk that's fine I'm sure there are alot shops out there that will treat you like a walking wallet... So go ahead do so... It seems like the PM way of doing things is not the way you want to do things... So why talk smack about PM,,, There are plenty of companies I can talk smack about over the years... But I rather go up to them and do so, rather then be a key board tough guy

This thread is about hmmmm ; my body kit.... I just wanted to share, that's it, If you like great... If you don't OK then no biggie.

ANY THING FURTHER ABOUT PM JUST CALL ME......

Car is sick rob, just sick! Just brush the haters off :: BTW I pm'ed my guy about your info...I'll keep you posted =)

I looked at the pics again this morning and I think the Ings N-spec are probably one of the best sideskirts for the Z, period. I also like the line at the bottom, which continues to the molded rear skirt haha..Dude you've got an eye for this sort of thing. I can't wait to show you mine when it's done!!
