Carbon Fiber Diffuser
Hmm? Looks nice but it appears like it would look so much better with a center exit exhaust which would somehow flow through that center vent. I think those fins wouldn't work so well with a dual or single canister exhaust system because (as you see it on the pics) it would cause it to hang extremely low. Definitely looks aggressive though.

it looks like a F430 rear diffuser, looks really nice...
Do they have one to fit on the 350z yet? The first pic looks like a photochop pic to me though... but damn... it is a nice piece and I will pay 500-600 for it...

cheers,
richie

Yes, that piece is photoshopped on my car. I have a guy who can produce a piece like this, I was just wondering what people would be willing to pay. I think if done right, it will clear most exhaust systems. It's just a matter of fabricating it right.

looks good! but you will have conpetition especially wit companys like top secret who test there panels in wind tunnels. for guys who dont need 1k diffusers theyll usually kit there backend! but def would be a cool piece. i would say pricing around 500 bucks would be reasonable. anything less price wise i woudlnt expect CF andanything higher i would expect wind tunnel testing and then perhaps even dry carbon
Why would you need a diffuser above the exhaust pipe and muffler?
What kind of air is going to be flowing above the exhaust pipe and muffler?
IMO: If you want to make a piece like this, the diffusers should be in the wide open space in the middle of the car and maybe you could even put one to the side of the muffler (or mufflers if a dual setup). But putting diffusers over the muffler pipe just seems useless to me.

I would pay alot for it LOL. As long as it doesnt come up over the body of the Z, I hate how like half lip kits look "stuck on", if it went in smoothly underneath the car and molded with the original lines of the Z, I could pay 500+ for it.
EDIT
Wouldnt mind seeing on like the GTR Protos either....Notice how if goes WITH the lines of the car, and not up on top of the body, so its not blocky looking.

However, this is made for the Ferrari and I would make one for the 350z with similar design in mind. There is R&D involved creating molds, test fitting etc. If I were to make something like this I would be the original and then copy's would follow just like the cheap body kit you bought off of ebay
