Question Any suggestions on lightweight racing seats???

I am trying to cut a little weight here and there without doing anything drastic. Does anyone have suggestions on lightweight racing seats?

Holy **** those seats are almost 3K. Okay, lightest seats under 1K (will be used for street and track use, so it needs to be somewhat comfortable). All of the seats look the same to me so I am looking for suggestions from people that have installed them. Is one brand better than the other? Sparco, Cobra, Bride, Momo, Recaro, etc and why? Thanks.

I think the stock leather seats are aorund 50lbs. If I can't find seats that are significantly less (around 20lbs.) then it's not really worth it to me. I am looking to drop around 100lbs. Hopefully 60lbs by replacing both seats and 40lbs or so from removing the spare and tools. Next will be a lightweight battery.

if you find a seat that's 15 pounds, but then you add basemoutn/sliders then the total will be about 30 to 40 pounds each. I have Sparco Torinos, with basemount/brackets and sliders it weighs at about 40 pounds per seat.

Uh, I got a pair of Bride seats on ebay...might have been a score, but it happens. Gardis 2 and Zeig 2. Bolted in an Altezza road race car for SCCA, but might have had only a few races on 'em. Scored the SET for $1,000 even. They twist torsionally more than I'd like, and Recaro SPG's ARE better quality, but JayDeeEm is cool these days... =D
