i recently ordered and received my overlay from blue bats. Install was easy and direct but my problem is fitment.

I ordered the front lip overlay and it doesnt cover the entire lip. There is agoo 3/4 inch uncovered on both sides of the lip where it curves in. It looks kind of tacky and wondering if anyone has these or know if this is supposed to be like this?
