Exclamation How to remove splashguards

Tomorrow morning I am picking up my new 2006 Enth from the dealer.

The putzs say that they cannot remove them because of how they are installed.

That's a crock, but if I can't force them to do it---how do I take them off without messing up the paint job.

I don't know why they install these stupid things...other than kicking up the price of the car $140 MSRP, for something that probably costs $2.50/each.

This is probably the only sports car in the world that provides factory mudflaps.

Thanks in advance.

two screws and a bolt on the bottom for the fronts and two screws and a screw on the bottom for the rear. Problem with rears is that you need an angled screwdriver or to take the rear wheel off.

Youll have empty screw holes once you take the guards out.

simple job, should take 15min to get the fronts off and 30-45 for the rears.

or get a shorty screwdriver. whatever gets you in there. and actually, i like the look of the mud guards, i don't think my car would have looked so right without them and the wider tires, and then the sideskirts.

car looks ugly without the rear mudguards unless you put in a rear bumper kit... try looking at the z's with aero kits (no mudguards) and compare... at the end of the day, it's what you like... you're paying for the car...

and it costs more than 2.50 each... it's paint matched, that alone is worth a lot more than that... you can't even get those at pepboys for 10 dollars each...
