I really like the hood and the front and rear diffusers from the V1 kit. I am seriously considering at least the front diffuser so lemme know what you find out about actually getting webber sport parts. (I was also referred to 5zigen).

Yeah, that's a downer. I don't know how you guys find this stuff sometimes. I feel like I'm the most unobservant person in the world!

I like the kit, I know the front bumber isn't all that but its different, and thats what I'm after. Its going to be either this or the Veilside. Alot of people have the veilside so I may look into this.that black peice can always be painted, though with DB or SB it might not look half bad like that, and if I end up painting the car orange the black center will look nice with the Carbon hood.

My car is Lemans Sunset, I would either get the CF to go with my hood or paint it black - if I get it prob. will get the FRP so I can fill that depression for the lic plate.

One thread comes to mind. One thread where the guy has a photoshoot with the girl and the red G. Someone makes a comment like she needs to get some shoes that fit. Low and behold it looks like she's wearing shoes 2-3 sizes to big. I'm like WTF, how do you see those things.

I read that thread and was busting up. Do you guys like stare at each picture? Unless a thread is like reallly really wordy, I spend like 20 secs on a thread, max.

Here is the response from 5zigen

Patrick,

Thank you for your inquiry.

We, 5ZIGEN USA, just got to right to distribute Weber Sports in North America.
I am forwarding your inquiry to one of our dealers and let them contact to you,
because we do only wholesale.

Best Regards,

Tsuyoshi Inoue
5ZIGEN USA

So will find out someday!

Default Here's the deal on the Weber bumper

The guy emailed me with the details on the cost of the bumper. I corresponded with him, he is a good guy, he agrees that this is an expensive price but they cannot get a discount on this part. It would end up costing me around $1500 to my door, and the way I hit animals, it wouldn't last the summer. So I have to pass. But he did tell me that they have the hook up on Cwest, JP and Bomex, so he might be worth a call for a quote on those items. Anyway, here is the email:

Hello, 5Zigen USA forwarded your inquiry for Weber Sports front bumper Z33
- V2 version (CF in center)

Your cost is $1,295 USD

Price includes all freight, taxes, and custom fees to USA. Please allow 60-90 days for bumper to arrive US shores.
This price is FOB to our facility here (we are in Los Angeles area). If you need it shipped freight to another destination add $175 for freight to residential door in 48 states. Add $140 for freight to commercial door in
48 states.

We require 50% deposit up front payment only in cash, cashier's check, bank wire transfer, or money order. You may pay final balance by credit card when bumper arrives. There is no cancellations or refunds after deposit is received and we send order to Japan. If you decide to cancel you will forfeit your deposit.

If you are ready to order let me know.

BTW, obviously they have been burned - cash up front for half - guess people used credit card and weazeled out of it. Can't blame them really.
