can't wait for the site to be up and running. looking forward to it.

That nismo V2 is HOT but in the research i have done, i found it to be the "Golden" fiberglass bumper at almost $2000.. i was going to purchase that bumper to go with my nismo kit.. but found it rediculous for the following reasons
1. I dont go well with fiberglass, my experience is you can barely drive with it and if you do you must be careful as hell!
2. Right now there isnt too many dealers or vendors that supply this kit, therefore price will be sky high!
3. In a few years price will go down because frauds will make molds that will sell as good or better therefore reducing NISMO's outrageous price on the V2

It looks SICK though!!

Hey dude, as you might have seen im installing my V2 next week (picking up the bodykit from the paintshop on Monday), i went with everything in the cars color (red in my case), so depending on how that turns out i guess it might help you with your decision, im posting some high res pics mid/end next week on the results.

My thinking was that if the grille comes out to much in red i can always paint that part over with black afterwards, though the idea is that the black mesh behind would create the proper balance (i bought a new mesh that covers all of the grille and not separate for the center and sides like it comes from Nismo for some reason).

/Roger

You guys should try www.japanparts.com. I am thinking of the v2 bumper as well to go along the USDM sides and rears. Japanparts currently list this bumper for US $883.44 with a 20-30 day shipping ETA. I haven't ordered anything yet [stilll getting over the Z purchase ]. Why would you go with JDM sides and rears vs USDM parts? Then only the front bumper is FRP with the rest urethane. Any thoughts?

Btw - Roggan is doing his with all JDM parts too. The Swede's Redline is gonna look fire hot!

Sorry to be off topic, but does anybody know the rear wheel's offset on the red car?

Thanks!

did you check the shipping cost from japanparts? i did, and it came to $600 to ship to my area. did you also add the price of canards? pretty much same cost as purchasing from performance nissan.

as for JDM vs. USDM, besides being different material, they look different. look closely and you will notice that the JDM sides are less flared out than the USDM sideskirts. i like the JDM version for my Z, lines seem to match better with the bumper lip.

here are pics: 1. JDM 2. USDM

Shipping cost - OUCH!!! I had not checked the cost. That is steep! I gotta see if my dealer would order the v2 bumper and hope it does not cost more to go to an East coast destination.

I see your point about the sides. The JDM part has softer lines. Thanks for the info. I'm eagerly awaiting you and Roggan to finish up and show us them beautiful Z bodies. Get her done!

I think this has been asked in the past but here goes again, is that hood available or is it a proto type, plus where can I find that tow hook? Thanks.

I vote for a complete one color look, everything silver like the latest official Nismo car.

Just got my kit back from the paintshop, very pleased with the one color decision.

Unless you are going to put on a lot of other black pieces, I think that the offset colors (silver/black) might look odd. I voted for all one color- looks very cool just like that.

yup, the more pics i see the more i'm starting to lean towards the one color look. i thought it might look nice if the grill area was black, but it only looks real nice if the lip was black too. since i'm not going for the two-tone scheme, i might just paint it all one color. i still have time to decide because i'm still having trouble getting the lmgt4's that i want. because of that, i might get Top Secret Gold LE37's.
