Most of you probably seen my other post of my ings+1 front lip which sits quite low.

Less than a month and I am already seeing many rock chips on the front lip, so I am going to put on a clear bra.

It seems that the paint on the front lip (by the body shop) isn't as hard/strong as the OEM original paint. Is it normal that outside body shop's paint will never be as good as OEM original paint from the assembly plant?

How long should i wait before I clear bra the newly painted front lip?
I don't want to wait too long because there will be more chips. Now I need to touch up all the rock chips before the clear bra is put on.

 

I wonder if the paint in Canada is better than here but our paint sucks! I'm not sure of exact time frame but your paint needs to completely cure before you put it on...ask your painter as to how long that should take...i just had mine put on today! I'm so happy!!!! Good luck
