sorry those are the only ones I shot...I figured everyone would want to see the actual fit and finish on it. There are literally tons of pics of this bumper on just about every color car though. I'll post pics again when it is painted, but I'm also going to to switch my sideskirts too. Probably won't be for awhile though as we have some pretty neat motor work about to be started too

Sorry for the delay in posting, but here is the latest

We are going to offer the bumper in both FRP and PFRP. PFRP is a blend of FRP with urethane. The advantage this gives the bumper is it is more flexible than straight FRP. The disadvantage is there is actually more prep work needed for the body shop, as the blended material tends to have a more irregular surface to it.

In addition, the price will include the mesh as shown above, the proper intake duct, as well as FRP canards. Carbon canards will be an option for an additional charge.

Details for the introductor GB will be posted in the Vendor GB section tomorrow, as well as on our website. ETA for the bumpers will be October, as the final mold is done and everythingis ready to be put into production.

The goal for this replica is simple - to provide a bumper that rivals the actual NISMO piece in quality of the fiberglass/gelcoat, as well as overal fit and finish. Having had the actual NISMO piece in our hands, I can personally attest to how nicely this compares in every way, except the price, and that is the reason we have decided to carry it. The FRP is thick and very strong. The gelcoat and overal finish rivals that of the genuine piece. The goal here is not to bring a replica to the market for an insanely cheap price and compromise quality - it is to bring a quality replica piece to the market without cutting corners, and have a piece that people will be proud to have on their car. There will no doubt be several versions of this bumper released on the market - we want this to be regarded as the best fitting and most complete replica of the bunch.

I should also point out that the bumpers will be available for pickup from our NY store, as well as available to ship worldwide. We will NOT be shipping this via Greyhound or some other lost cost means. Shipping will only be done via truck freight due to the sheer size of the bumper box, and each one will be professionally packed to ensure that whether it's going to NJ or Italy, it arrives in one piece, free of damage.

I was kinda crossing my fingers that the replica would be done in ABS, like some "other" replicas out there.

ABS plastic? Show me a single bumper for this car in ABS plastic. Yes I have seen the other GB that claims they are making one in ABS plastic. I wish them luck with their venture. It is very difficult making even some as non-complex shaped as a sideskirt in ABS plastic. A bumper with the curves and intricasies as the V2 would be even more difficult, and for a proper piece, pricing would be insane.

I have a friend of mine who just finished producing a radio trim bezel for an Evo to house a double din headunit. Tooling costs alone were around $100k to get it off the ground, and that's for a piece of plastic that is 6 inches by 4 inches. Imagine how that translates into a piece as big as a bumper. Not to mention all the potential production flaws from a mold that big. His piece took round 12 months to complete from prototype to production.

Last day to order is the 20th of September, bumpers will arrive end of October, and the link of the GB is found in our signature
