It's hard to find another bodyshop to finish up this widebody project. I've called around and so far and couldn't find one. There are few but they can't guarranty the quality since they never done something like this before. The one that can do, they're all book up until next year.

So i figure it would be faster to break the shiet down and slap on Ken Style and repaint the whole car again. Pmed Darren regarding Ken Style now. hehehe

i saw your car in the booth this morning. For a small job like painting bodykit, no problem with them.

they are at the prepping stage (the important stage). If you don't do it right at this point, the paint will come out like shiet. The hold up at this point is they are loosing worker left and right and they just don't have anyone left to work there. My car is just park there to collect dust, over spray and spider's web. lolz

As far as money, oh heck, i'll get back every single cents.

Bubble can you send me recent pics of your car? What would you pay to have it finished?

the last pic somewhere in page 17. I will buy Ken Style and start it all over again. Typical price for repaint the whole car would run somewhere from 3 to 4K. Why?

Damn bro...I'd say you're more than halfway through this project already, why not finish it instead of starting from scratch?

Buddy owns a paint shop here in Sac. Why not just finish whats started? Have a shop finish it. What was this build up costing you?

even if i want it, the shop is unable to complete it at this point. That mean i have to wait as long as they can get some skill bondo guy to finish it up (next year maybe?) hehe

It's 4 months now. I'm tired of hearing excuses and missing the delivery date. I guess i should watching their progress more carefully for the past 4 months instead of just drop the car there and let them take all the time they need. Yes, i don't drive this car anymore BUT it's still one of my baby.

i'm moving down south in Oct so i'll have the shop down in OC take care of it. I'm still debate about finish it or put on Ken Style. Projective cost around $5K to $9K. Not a big deal. I just need to see result and in this case, i'm a bit sad. I thought i can pick up the car last week.

In addition, there are few damage parts on my car:

1. Both of my headlight was badly sand down around the edge.
2. My left rear BBK was oversprayed to the point all you see is the white dots. Can't clean them out.

it's time to send in the bill to the shop's owner.

to the owner of the black ZR and White Z, get your car out of there AS SOON AS possible. In the past i always recommend this shop since they are doing a good job but since August everything start to fall apart. I should see this sooner and alert our north cal member.

If you want it finished let me know. Your looking at about 6k or so. My boy is off the chain with bodywork. Its a NO BS shop. Ive seen two day turn around on insurance stuff.
BTW its going to cost a shiet load to rip all that off and fix what they have done.

+1

That's a whole bunch of labor for just that alone.
