Exclamation Somebody Must No ?

Hi people im new on here an desparte for some help. My central locking windows and seat controls have all stopped working , dealers had the car for 2 days and cant find the fault . Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else . Doc uk

Covered under warranty? Get em to replace the motors or check the wiring.

I’ve never had a problem in the Z, but similar things have happened in my wife's Scion after I've done some electrical work.

One thing you can try is unhooking the battery and leaving it unplugged for a few minutes before hooking it back up. It’s kind of a 'reboot' for the system.

Again, on the Scion, when the windows stopped working all we had to do was hold both the window buttons all the way forward for a couple of seconds, then all the way back for a couple of seconds and then let go. They'd work after that.

Other than those two ideas I don’t know what to tell you, my friend.

I won't go into the details but I had some strange things happen and it ended up being my battery. It would lose it's charge randomly so when they checked it it appeared fine. If your battery is the original one, that might be it. My battery only lasted about 1.5 years.
