Default Aerosync Bumper & Nismo Skirts: Pics & Review

I just got these installed last night. Overall, I think they truned out really good!

The Aerosync bumper was excellent quality for an aftermarket product. However, there were a few minor issues: First, my bumper arrived cracked (5" under the headlight). The material is much more flimsy than the stock one, which is probably why it cracked during Greyhound shipment. Since my friend did the paint job, he told me not to worry about it that he could fix it better than new. After he finished itlooked like new and he added a brace to the back to keep it from splitting againg.

The gap issues with the reflector and headlight that everyone speaks about were very minor. I had a small 1/4" gap on the top of one reflector, but it's hardly noticable on the car. The headlight gap is slightly larger than stock, but not noticably off or anything. The underside doesn't match up to the stock plastic flashing due to it be much lower to the ground. This is only in the midde part, which we tightened up with zip ties. Overall fitment of this bumper was great!

The paint job was better than expected. It took two attempts on both the bumper and skirts. The bumper had small little "fish eyes" in the paint on one side. After he sanded and repained it, it looked great! Since he resprayed the bumper, he put an extra coat on the skirts to match the paint. My OEM bumper didn't match the rest of my car, and I beleive that this one matches closer than what I had. I realize that painted plastic is going to look a different shade (slightly) than the metal.

Ok, now on to the pics: Let me know what you think!

No, I don't particularly like the way they look unless they're molded in... I'm still trying to decide what to do with the rear. For now, it's the full Nismo kit except the rear still has mud flaps.

One of my friends is the parts manager at a local Nissan dealership. I got them from him for $350.

I had my friend paint the tab in the middle super black, since the grill was painted black. i went back in forth on the decision whether to paint the tab silver or black. Since I did the black strip in the rear spoiler, I did the tab in the front black to match.

The headlight overlays came from Blue Batmobile. He's here on the forum. I have the headlight, tialight and guage pod overlays from him. They are excellent quality, but the chrome ones for the headlights have started to bubble in the Mississippi summer heat.

I had to toss mine due to bubbling as well. I even tried 2 sets.

Do you happen to have any larger pictures? These aren't quite blowing out my video card.

The car looks fantastic BTW.

I wouldn't bother. I'm replacing mine with the clear strips from Rick's. I just can't decide if I'm brave enought to bust open the headlight housing, or pay for them to do it.
