Default Painting center console?

I've been messing around with installing an LCD in the stock cubby hole and also installing a head unit in the double din slot and I have managed to scratched up the plastic on the center console area pretty good... is there any way to fix/paint this back to stock? Are there any aftermarket pieces (non-CF) that people have that I could look into? What are my options, it is REALLY annoying with white marks on the plastic

I've seen a few people who have painted theirs. I doubt you'll get that "stock" look though after it's painted. You may have to paint a few other interior pieces to balance it out. Of course you can always order a new center piece.

I had mine painted by Zpresence. He's well known on the other boards for painting engine covers. You have to do a lot of sanding and use materials designed for painting plastic. His work is perfect and can do any color. PM me with any questions

Okay here goes,

should you choose to keep the 350Z's odd texture check out the interior paints by Dupli-color. They make a nice dark grey or gloss black or truly just about any color. You can then paint your door panels and center console and keep the stock texture. Should you choose to alter the texture and make them smooth, bust out the sandpaper and goto town. Then primer and paint. I am working on making and Alcantra Center dash and door panels. I'll let you know how it turns out!!!

Painting the center all the way back would look nice too. ALOT OF WORK, but nice.
