After a little searching, it looks like Intense Motorsports has the real kit for $2495 shipped... of course this is also subject to availability, which seems to be slim.

And yes, the more the merrier!

That's fine, one part is better than none.

not to mention the driveways are super steep but to do in urethane will be very expensive. I think alot of folks here are trying to save some bucks

what about urethane front end, and FRP everything else..

its the nose that gets most of the impact anyway- the side skirts and rear rarely get any contact, you can just spend the xtra $$ on the urethane mold ~$20k and then like $5-6k for the FRP molds for the sides.

haha..how weird, i was thinking that too...

it will still cost more than fiberglass but having to mold only the front end compare to all four pcs this is a better way to go. Also, it wont be urethane but abs plastic, which is essentially the same, durable and flexible. However, we do need more ppl to commit to be able to do this in abs if not the price is still high, splitting among only 10ppl or so

+1 was just about to suggest that... or just do FRP with a more flex agent in the resin..

oh yeah. are you doing the front bumper with or w/o the Naca duct?

Estimated price should be about 1200-1400 a set with abs plastic bumper and frp side and rear bumper. it is still significantly lower than the original not to mention original bumpers are made with FRP.

Chebosto and punkster, that's a good idea, doing a more durable front end. How often do the side skirts and rear bumper take an impact anyway? Never, when compared to the front...

If the price is around what punkster estimates, that'll be less than half the price of authentic. If the interest is here punkster, how long do you think it would take to produce the kit and get it to people? I've had a couple people PM me questions like that.. maybe it would be best to just answer it here.

Don't forget also people that there is a significant wait even for the authentic Do-Luck... one member here that I know of at least has been waiting since January I think, if not longer!

Estimate time should be around 2.5-3month period. I do have a friend that has the kit available Its a matter of getting enough interests for me to speak with him about it. Its an authentic do luck kit.

Awesome! And here I was thinking you were going to have to order the kit, there'd be a huge wait.... now we just need enough interested people!
