I have the same thing on my car. you should do PDR (paintless dent removal). Its a technique using poles and mirrors that push the dent out from the inside. I've seen it done and its very impressive. a lot of car dealerships around me use it for cars on their lot. In New York there's places like "the dent wizard" that do it but they charge per panel (between $120 and $160) and I don't think its worth spending $140 for one little ding, but I'm gonna have it one again when I get a couple more. check for one in your area

Id do the paintless dent removal, there are quite a few places that do that id go to the most reputable in your area.

Thumbs up

I've seen some very, very impressive (perfect, actually) PDR's done here at the Lexus dealership. They charge $100 per panel, even if there is more than one dent. You can usually get a cash discount off of that as well.

I saw some pretty nasty dents dissappear in about 30 mintutes and they were completely gone without even leaving a trace. No one will EVER be able to tell those dents were there. I was very impressed (I was just getting my oil changed and, in the time it took them to change my oil, I watched them undo a couple of dents from a brand new Lexus).

No one will EVER be able to tell that they were there. If I ever get a dent, I will not hesitate to call them that very day.

As you can tell, I was very impressed.

i have a black car so ANY dent is a big dent. In Calif, they charge about 75 to fix a dent... most took only about a minute -_-.

Do those "dent pullers" you can buy at an auto shop work? I have a tiny, tiny dent on the passenger side door. Only visible at certain angles. It doesn't bother me enough to pay $100 to remove it, but if it could be done easily, I'd try it.

I'd take that money you'd spend on the "dent puller" and put it towards having one of these guys, who have been through extensive training to work with a variety of specialized tools, "message" the dent back out. I've seen it done to a variety of cars and a good tech can make it completely 'go away' like it was never there.

Remember that the liability is all his if he &%$#s up your paint or fails to remove it. If you mess up your own paint with one of those "dent pullers," it's all on you.
