unscrew it counter clockwise.

Seriously though, the OEM **** is tight. Put a rag around the ***** base then using adjustable wrench, put that over the rag at the flattened sides and turn counter clockwise. Install replacement by hand.

 

Thanks, will a Momo **** fit. Are ***** standard female screw thread?

 

I think the shifter is 10mm so if the Momo is the same it should.
