Default How to remove spoiler

Hi guys,

Got on spoiler and it was attached with 3M tape. Anyone knows how to remove these safely? I heard the strong 3M tapes can rip your paint right off

Help please guys

I would think you could use a heat gun or a hair dryer to heat up the tape and make the adhesive tacky. Then you could use dental floss, and slowly work it through the tape until it comes free.

Never done this, but it sounds like it would work. Good luck

Thanks. I'll try that out tonight. That's what I found online as well as using WD40.

Is this spoiler OEM or aftermarket? Are you sure it's only taped on? Most spoilers are bolted on as well as have tape running around them.
