needs:
spray bottle and be kind with plenty of water, this helps avoid oops.
NEW blade for cutting
squeegee device preferably softer and flexible
blow dryer, ya know i see this more an option but its all good.

precut a bigger piece on the outside first
you need lotsa light.
dont worry about the little tiny bubbles, they usually go away in a day

Do not even try it, you are going to waste money!! I'm not trying to be a Dick but window tinting is very tricky and the film you are going to get at your local auto parts store stinks. The film will scratch easy and turn purple in a year or two. Seriously, I have a friend who owns a tinting business and it is not something that you can just do, it takes years of practice! Just pay the $200 and be done with it that way if there are any bubbles, hair, etc. you can have THEM redo it, and the film will be better quality!!!!

Unhappy

Thanks everyone for the input. I messed around with it this morning and I don't like the way it's going. I did one of the small windows and it took me about 1hr 45min. So I'll be going to a shop some time this week.

Thanks.

I had tinted windows on my old car and I really didn't like it at night. So I opted for the Nissan window mesh. It works as a very light tint, you can't really see in from the outside but the view is very clear from the inside.
