Hi, I just looked at my friends 03 Z today and his engine bay where the strut bar bolts onto is a dull gray color but his car is silver, while mine is ppw and where my strut bar is on is shiny white like the rest of my car, whats the deal with that?

 

Nissan tends to paint the engine bay various colors based on the outer coat. The darker color cars tend to have a different engine bay color than the actual car color. I just think it is the actual color of the base coat of the entire car, where white usually has a white basecoat. My Forrest Green 240sx had a matte black engine bay.

 

Thanks, I didnt want to start a new topic, but one of my headlights has a gap where it should be touching the bumper, is there a way to refit it? or maybe its the light thats crooked?
