Is it just me, or is the INGS LX-SPORT kit realy low? Is it lower than any other kit? (including the INGS N-spec)
I mean how far can you go without compromising driving around daily?
I haven't yet seen anyone who's able to get rid of the fender gap with 19's without being flat on the ground.
Is it just an ilusion?
More importantly, does the INGS kit (side skirts especially) go lower than anything on the bottom of the car?
I think one person had measured his to show a 3" as the lowest point, and he still had a littl fender gap (not much though), but, question is if you go over anything, will you be directly rubbing and pushing up on the side skirts, or is there anything else on the car to take off some of the pressure?
And lastly, this 'hybrid aero' that I am getting. Is this just a more flexible fiberglass? or is it more like urethane?

The ings+1 LX sport front lip is probably one of the lowest lips.
3.75" front clearance with stock suspension and wheels. The clearance is actually uniform across the front. Most picture makes it look like it's lowest in front of the front wheels, but it's actually the same all across.

As for driving around, you always have to go diagonally up most drive ways to be safe.
If you are going with authentic ings, definately go with hybrid aero, it's worth the extra $$. It's very flexible and if you ever do scrap the lip, which you will for sure (eventually), you don't have to worry about it cracking on you. You will just loose some paint on the bottom which no one can see.

Thanx for the info.
Just one thing I want to know. Is the side skirt (and front lip) lower than everything on the bottom of the car.
I have a Mugen sideskirt on my DC5 Type R (which I just sold), and it scrapes a little, but there are other things under the car (exhaust, chassis, etc.) that take the pressure off. I think this helps to preserve the kit if you know what i mean?

It's very low.
I cannot go over the majority of speedbumps. I will back-up or go another way. My sideskirts are on "loosely" so when I scrape, there is some play so they don't crack or rip. I would say behind my drivers tire is the lowest point, just under 3 inches.

Well the front may very welll be, but you can try and work around that.
It's the sides I'm concerned with. Going over speed bumps, going over humps into driveways. The side skirt is going to be pressing against the ground. I can't see how it won't break with all the cars weight on it.
The only way I see it, I'd have to get the Roberuta cup kit to lift the vehicle whenever I need to.
I mean, I don't want to drive my Z around like a 4x4 jacked up into the air.

Woah, wait a minute. I'm about to buy this kit and I just bought some GF210 springs which lower the car by 1". Am I reading this wrong or would installing lowering springs along with this kit be a horrible idea?

...and I need to do it AGAIN!!!
I am seriously considering an Aerosync bumper, Ings lip or Veilside.
