i think its WV2 or something, it should be with your VIN #. For some reason its difficult for a lot of shops to match the Silverstone color dead on... make sure you goto a reputable shop to do it, my oem spoiler looks like **** under certain lighting.

It is WV2, however according to the guy that painted my Nismo wing, there were 2 different WV2 's . One was an alternate that had more flake in it. That's the one. Depending on your paint guy, he should do a couple spray outs to make sure it's a perfect match.

First of all make sure the shop uses DuPont or an equal----Many dont cuz it cost more and all they do is insurrence work and want low material costs and hi profits. Paint comes from a Paint supplier and if hes good it will be a perfect match but a good mixer will ALWAYS want to see whats being painted so he can do a perfect match. A average body shop will just call and say ===I need a Gallon of CS or SS for an 04,05,06 Z and send a gofer down to pick it up---Hence: Poor Match..

If u want perfection u have to educate ur self a little and over see the steps.

ALL good paint suppliers have all the swatchs and codes for every year make and model of car in books that will give u a hernia if u try to pick them up. But the code is just a basic recipe for the "fine tuning" that has to be done for perfection

Good Luck !!!

Great !!!! But nothing is better than the experienced Human eye.
Everyone crys about poor matchs and I dont blame them ---My Paint supplier and mixer uses a Meter also as does any paint mixer.
And if the guy is HOT and the Batch hes working with is just right, thats fine. My guy is Hot ! with over 50 yrs experience and his son is too but when he mixes it he almost always tweeks it when comparing it with the exsisting. But in addition to owning the business he and his boy are both Custom Painters and take NO insurrence work.

Im just trying to save the perfectionists a lot of headaches and Iv heard a LOT of headaches here in the forum.

listen to E***zzzy - you can tell he's gone through the hell that is getting silverstone to match.

Every paint manufacturer will show different variations on the code, which is WV2. We use DuPont Chroma Base on my own car, and they show 3 variations - none of them are the color of my car though. Last time I went with the gas cap and it still did not match perfectly - this time I'm not going to even attempt and off the shelf match, and will literally keep buying paint and tinting it till it's spot on. This is what any GOOD body shop will do. Just get something in writing from them (or a good warm fuzzy feeling) that the shop will warranty the work and it will be to YOUR satisfaction, and you'll be in good shape
