Default requesting pic of car with siebon vt hood

hey guys like the title says im looking into purchasing a seibon vt or the other one seibon st(?) hood. I know allot of you have the st(?) since i serached already and tons of you guys have pics of them. Im leaning towards the VT hood instead, but was wondering why so many of you have chosen the other instead. Please tell me you opinions on the hood and please post some pics of the VT hood on a Z, because I cant find any!

+1 is the hood open because if it's not it looks like it has some major fitment issues.

That is my car. We had the hood popped open when that pic was taken. It's fitment is fine when latched. Also, its the TS not ST.

VT should be one of the most popular.

This is the Veilside hood but the VT is the same just without the raised lines in the middle. Sorry I couldn't find cf pic but this is the first place I could think of to get quick pictures. I'm sure you could imagine though.

I was never a big fan of carbon fiber but this hood turned me around. And I am amazed at how many people comment on it, liking it, and many of them are people in the 40-60 age bracket, which I find odd. A friend I do computer work for who is 69 loves the hood and got mad when I said I was going to paint it.

This morning I was on my deck looking down at the car from about 30 feet away, it just looked bad-assed with the hood- it seems to make the car look wider if anything.

Glad to be of service. I was quite impressed with the fit and finish of the Seibon hood, I had read some negative feedback on fitment when it first came out, but IMO they fixed whatever was wrong, it came very professionally packaged, no damage at all, and went on like a dream. I had to pick my son up at the high school after I posted the pictures (they are on vacation - but he was at JRTC drill team practice) and before I knew it I had a dozen kids loving the car, and the main focus (besides the turbos) was the hood. They agreed unanimously that it is a great looking piece. I'm sure you will like it. Make sure to transfer the rubber piece from the front of your stock hood to the new Seibon.

If I paint mine, the vents on the sides will remain carbon, however, I am not sure on the center vent. What do you think?

I saw the article a while ago about the new Dodge Challenger, they had a carbon hood that was painted in such a way that it looked like it had a racing stripe - but really that part was the carbon. I liked the look on that, would post a picture but I can't find the magazine.

I say leave the middle vent CF also. I think I've seen it before. I'll see if I can find the pic again.
