Yeah, I can just see the service technician trying to find 1st gear and grinding your transmission. Or worse yet, trying to find 1st gear and puts it in reverse instead & accelerates backwards into another car or the wall . . . 
but ya, I think the technicians get it when they find no clutch..

Does anyone know of any good shift boots and shift ***** for the automatic 06's b/c i called momo and they said that theres would not work on my car b/c the button on the shifter is in the front. So i dont know of any boots and ***** i can get for my car. Any Ideas?

I did the 5AT shift ****/boot mod as my first Z modification, and I did a poor **** job on it. i warped the trim ring, got a little too happy w/ the dremel and chopped too much plastic off of it. And I think I damaged the gear display thingie a bit (the black plastic piece w/ gear labels that sits under the ring)...
Is there a reason I can't just buy the manual version of the center console piece? (the finish plate I think it's called)

The Momo **** will work, not sure why they told you that. When you take off the stock ****, there is just a rod that you push straight down which is exactly how the momo **** works. I have an 06 with a RAZO shift **** and it works great. As for the shift boot, I bought one at Pep Boys and cut it to fit around the aluminum ring around the shifter. Works great.
