just wanted to say, I beleive this is the spoiler Vader007 has. in person it is really slick and the deletion of the big base really cleans it up. I would say it is very nice.

I have no idea wether Vader had stock wing. don't know if the Evo-R covers it.

but his is unpainted CF and looks great. a couple imperfections in the weave, but overall nice.

you can paint carbon like you can paint anything else. You would need to have a local body shop paint it, as that is the only way to ensure a proper color match

Yes you will need to drill holes to install this spoiler

because a lot of times people get carbon fiber to save weight, and if you paint it, you make it heavy, meaning you should just buy a fiberglass/urethane piece... but since they dont make that in this wing, get it painted.

that is only true of dry carbon - 9 times out of 10 a wet carbon part weighs more than the part it is replacing on this car. People do carbon usually for it's look, not its weight or strength properties

The subject wing is fiberglass, it just has a carbon overlay - the carbon version and straight fiberglass version weight within a couple of ounces of one another

mrpratt - I'm only talking about our cars

you would have to contact local body shops and ask

I know around us, the answer is no - its no different of a process to paint carbon vs non - all the same steps are required

lol damn you win then

yeah, my hood is strictly for looks. Someone told me that it is 1 pound lighter than stock, and someone else said the hood is actually heavier than stock... but i could care less, I got it from Shariff for $100

the TS for the Z is heavier than stock by a couple pounds - nothing significant though and it certainly looks good
