Looking for some over the steering column gauge mounging pods for th G35 and 350Z.

Something similar to this but with 3 instead of just two.


If anyone knows of any, please help me out

 

never seen 3. You could always just mount a 3rd one on it.

 

One company (ATI's Epod) created one and I test fit it for them. It was a great idea but I encountered several problems:

1) You could not see the gauges behind them (or they were partially eclipsed).
2) The steering wheel would rub when turned (granted mine is a JDM Momo)
3) They only took 52mm gauges (may or may not be a concern)
4) The gauges (AEM AF, etc) were too deep for the pod - it would hit the instrument panel.



Believe me, my installer (Nazar and Justin of Wicked CAS) did everything to try and make it work but to no avail.

BTW, if you can somehow get away with meetimg the above criteria, it is a very well made piece and matched the interior pretty well. However you would never be able to ever have three gauges as it would completely cover up the entire instrument panel and would look very stupid.

I was checking into this because a customer was intrested in something else besides having the pillar mounts.

 

why not mount it in the 3 gauge pods in the middle? ive seen some people do that...or maybe mount it in the cubby for a "stealth" look. just my .02
