When I get in the car in the morning I put the left climate control **** to auto and the right climate control **** to auto. The AC light comes on and I turn it off. The AC should stay off till I shut the car off and turn it back on correct? For some reason occasionally when I heal toe or let the car stay in gear while coasting to a stop, the ac will turn back on. This has also happens with the right climate **** in the off position. I did a search and have already unplugged and replugged the ac cable. For those that have had the problem in the past, did the dealership take care of it and did you have to prove to them that it did it? Its going to be hard for me to show them because its so sporadic.

 

yeah when you turn it off it should definately stay off. The only way it would turn back on is if you shut the car off completely and restarted it and it was in defrost

 

It's on AUTO...it will adjust the controls as it sees fit to get the temperature you dialed in
