Default Paint - Ultra Yellow

I have a 2005 35th Anniversary Z painted in Ultra Yellow. The new Ultra Yellow exterior color utilizes a new high-luminance and high-chroma pearl pigment and three layers of top coat (with separate color pigment and pearl pigment layers) to create an almost “liquid” surface appearance.

I would like to add a clear bra to the car but need to touch up the paint. Does Nissan have touch-up paint available for this type of paint job? If no, what are my alternatives? Thank you in advance.

Hello fellow UY owner. I also have an '05 Ultra Yellow Z ( not a 35th anniv). Nissan does have touch up paint for our car, but to be honest ( and any self respecting and honest paint guy will telll you) it will not do a good job IMO. For very small areas maybe, but any area larger than a quarter is a no go. Have the hood redone THEN install the clear bra to the car. Just my 2c

Ask your dealership to put you in touch with their touch-up guy. These guys are mobile and go from dealership to dealership doing professional touch-up work. They can truly do wonders. I'd go this route before trying to touch up a multi-stage paint job myself, especially if I was going to seal over it with clear-bra. Whole hood/bumper repaint is overkill.
