can't decide 4300k or 6000k
I'm thinking about getting a HID ballad covertion kit, but can't decide which bulbs to get. 4300k white, which is the most bright, or 6000k blue/white. Anybody has it on their Z's. I'm looking for the light color of the BMW or Audi. Thanks
i wana get the 6000k piaa cobalts....suppose to be one of the best...but they are enough $$ to dish out for replacement bulbs...thats y i am waiting little longer...see what happens

The most light output available, no matter who makes the bulb is between 4100~4300K! I don't care who tells you what, or who say otherwise. It's a SCIENTIFIC fact that the most usuable light from pure white light, which is made at 4100-4300K. 6000K will give you blue tinted light and DOES NOT put out as much light as the same bulb would at the correct kelvin range!!!!
The best bet is to go with 4300K. If you really want the look, go with 5000K at most. My

I upgraded my OEM (4300k) bulbs to the 6000k and think the 6000k give me better light on the road. I don't think the 6000k have any blue tint and are a soild white vs the 4300k yellowish tint. I said go with the 6000k.

some higher voltage ones may require a better harness. I installed 6k hella fogs on my other vehicle, but I wouldn't mind trying 8000k.
