Default Illuminated Door Sills

I started installing my illuminated door sills tonight and had a question about power supply. I looked at all the illuminated door sill threads, and it seems as though some people used the window switch (that drops the windows when the door opens) as a power supply and some people used it as a ground.

I want the door sills to light up when the door is open, so any of you electric guru's, what's the best way to go about wiring these? The window switch didn't really seem to have enough power to light up the LEDs to their full potential.

Thanks in advance, pictures coming as soon as I get it all wired up.

I'd think you would want to wire it in with the dome light at the fuse box.
