i say SMOKED reflectors. I'm going to go clear myself, but that's b/c it's a better contrast with the Brick plus it goes with my wheels better.

I think smoked look better w/ your wheels and front.

damn John...Looks killer!!! I was very, very close to ordering that carbon front Finisher as well,..but don't know if it will work w/ the NISMO Lip I have on the way!??

HOW thick is that carbon fiber peice?....The lip is gonna fit over the Stock bumper kinda like this---it will look just like it but its not Top Secret?? I would like for it to be on there too,..but not sure if that will be overkill on the front end,..but either way!! You car is killer!!!
I gotta slam mine like yours,..I got eibahs on the way but I'm gonna throw the Sprints on and I bet its the same drop you got!!!

KEEP IT UP!!!!

John,

I would go with the Smoked. It is a better contrast and also matches the black in the front head lights. I would say it would match your wheels, but it looks like you are getting new ones.

thanks,
Turbo03

When did your parts show up? My lights haven't been delivered yet.

John car is always changing with new mods every day. His mods are very simple that gives it a clean look.

I wish I had John car now. lol

Yeah, in my opinion, i would rather keep my side marker clear...

John, I agree with Matix... go with the smoked lenses up front for the contrast. The clear just seem to disappear into the PPW.

Oh, and though you didn't ask, I'm not too crazy about the finisher up front. It looks fine from head on, but from the side seems out of place. Just my .02

Thumbs up

I like the clear myself for that color of car.

I've got a question for you, how do those sport horns sound? Is there a wav file somewhere we can listen to them?

Go with the clear... but that is my opinion.

I have the smoked since I am in Japan... original parts. I think they look best with Silverstone -- otherwise I would have opted for the clear.

Clear looks great on most other colors --- especially CS and black.

thanx for all the replies on the front reflectors. i'll test fit the smoke this wekend.

wadd3456-camber is adjusted to -2 all around

350z4steve-instlalation was cake: mounted on with double-sided 3m tape

mr fairlady-carbon finisher will not work with top secret front diffuser. the finisher extend to under the bumper. oh yeah, that car in the background is one fast *** porsche all tricked out.

turbo03-parts came in the day i posted. paid for 2 day shipping from courtesy nissan.

mcduck-thanx for yor opinion. different strokes for different folks.

scully32-haven't installed horns yet.

djkurn-yes, it is a 911 all tricked out.

Please let us know when you do install the sport horns... I'm very curious to hear what they sound like. If anyone knows of a sound file with them, please share.

I say clear.
Your car looks super clean, looks great...I think the smoked would take away from that clean look.
Thumbs up on the CF finisher too, that makes a BIG difference IMO

Don't do a thing to the exterior throw on some FI and be done!

scully32-i installed the sport horns today. i didn't have to take the front bumper off to install them like the instructions said because i have skinny arms. anyways, it took me 20-30 minutes to install. not really impressed with the sound. i thought it would be way louder. anyways, the sound is good enough though. wish i could do a wave file for you, but i am not a computer guru. hopefully somebody does a sound file for the 350z board soon. the nissan jdm sport horns imho are not worth it.

synergytheory-thanx for your opinion.

Fairlady Z, do you have a pic of your smoked side markers on your Silverstone Z? I have a SS Performance, and am trying to decide between the clear and the smoked. I'm leaning toward the smoked, but I'd like to see a picture before I make the call. Thanks in advance.

How would you describe the sound of the sport horns? Are they deeper, louder, higher, lower, more melodious?

Congratulations on not removing the bumper, that had to save some time!

Man, your car looks awesome! I want to get a set of the smoked reflector for my car. Does the bumper need to come off to put them on, or can you just pull the original ones off, and snap on the new ones?
