I was just sitting around, still kind of bummed about how badly the top (when up) detracts from the 350Z convertible. Is there hope?

I'm only a Photoshop novice so I know I can't pull this off and do it justice. Maybe someone else could try...

But it occurred to me that the Nismo bodykit on the convertible would probably improve it phenomenally! It looks likes the kit would still work... the only question mark would be the rear spoiler because the trunk line may be different than the hatchback line where the spoiler is mounted.

Anyone out there with some PS-shop skillz wanna try this? I'd love to see the kit on the convertible.


Of course, this option would add another couple thousand dollars to a convertible that will already cost $5K or so more, but we're not talking price here... we're talking aesthetics.

 

Well, the remoavable hard top could not go much farther back than the soft top since A) It would block the third brake light and B) it would prevent the trunk from opening.

removable hardtop????

The nismo kit is 6 pieces... new front end, 2 side skirts (below doors), 2 rear skirts (behind rear wheels), and the rear spoiler.

I want to see how this kit would look on the convertible (top up and top down pictures). A hardtop never comes into play.

I agree, a body kit might look sweet on the vert!
