looks like more trouble than it's worth. i hardly ever use my washer fluid.

Last time I poured hot water on an icy windshield.....it froze too.

wouldnt hot water on a cold piece of glass make it crack?

I didnt think most people drove there Z during winter and icy months.
ice+rwd Z=bad

i just found out yesterday that my car says ICY under the thermo if temp is near freezing. huh... whada ya know.

unfortunatly this is my daily driver... so i have to drive it in the winter. but if you think about it. says we get a snow storm of 12''... the plows usually have it gone by the next day, so for a day i wont drive the Z, and with black ice, just limit my night time driving ..


wnna hear something more crazy... my brothers daily driver for the time being is his 94 MKIV TT Supra... and traction control is disabled from the previous owner. i betcha he stays home most of the winter lol

Yes if there was a crack already started. doesnt have to be big. hairline crack will expand like a **** as soon as hott water hits that.

And if my memory serves me right hot liquids freeze faster than cold liquids.

nope, it wont crack. there are lots of american cars that use preheated windshield washer fluid.

why not just use the anti-freeze type washer fluids? You can buy the de-icer kind that is good down to like 20 or 30 below...
