Has anyone removed the drivers side dash to get to the stock GPS receiver? According to the service manual you have totake the kick plate first, then the kick panel, then the lower panel and finally the upper panel. Is all that really necessary or can I just remove the lower and upper IP? Is it fairly straight forward? Below is a pic of where I am trying to get to ... right below the upper louver.
