Default Adding second glove box???

Has anyone tried moving the big glove box to behind the driver's seat rather than the passenger's seat? Of course I had my car all apart this weekend and totally forgot to try the glove box out in the other side myself! The bolt patterns and opening appear identical, and the pricing of an additional glove box, is very reasonable. It would be nice to make a cleaner use out of that space. Plus my main glove box is now unusable because I have my Auto PC installed there now.

thanks!

Yeah, I should have searched first!

So basically it sounds like you can order the glove box accessories minus the door and would then have to use the regular panel cover. Unless you could track down one from someone who isn't using there glove box anymore or from Japan.

The glove box assembly is around $80 (minus the door panel)

You could just turn that regular panel into a door with latch. All you would need is a trip to home deport to find a good latch combination that will fit and a dremel to make the new hole.
