or anyone else who may know...does this hood have any fitment issues the way the veilside version 3 hood had issues??? and would it close properly over a 5/16 plenum spacer??? are hood pins required??? i searched for veilside hood and too much stuff came up to go through cuz im at work. thanks in advance.

 

I think thats kind of a hit and miss thing with VS hoods. I have seen some Z's with good fitment but have talked to a few VS owners that were unhappy. The V2 model is by far my favorite though.

 

Ordered a Replica Hood of the VeilSide v3 at Octane Motorsports, and their Rep Dee claims in "No Fitment Issues " !!!! Gurentees matching Your Stock Hood ... glass is Real Good Price !! Will find out when it gets to the bodyshop for prep and paint ...

Thanks for the inquiry. I haven't heard of any ill fitment issues on any of the VeilSide hoods from the last container. We have a V2 in carbon fiber here actually. If I can get a local Z customer to roll by w/ stock fenders/fb, then I'll throw it on there and know 100%.
