I was planning on waiting for the gear shifter to get here before installing everything ... but I'm definitely contemplating putting on the e-brake/boot on since I already have it. We'll see, my work is actually getting kinda busy and I don't get home til dark. I might have to wait til this weekend.

Wonder how that ebrake would look like when it's pretty dark and i just drove up right next to you with your ebrake up

Ok I couldn't wait I installed my e-brake with the new boot. It looks effin great, I'll post pics tomorrow. It basically took me only 10-15 minutes to exacto knife my stock e-brake apart. Making it fit and sizing it up took a little longer. All things considered it was a pretty easy install.

I'll also post pics on how best to take apart/destroy your stock e-brake.

I actually just got this shift **** as a present from my girlfriend, except mines the all black, silver one. Is it just me or does the **** feel really light to you. Maybe I'm just not used to it yet, since my last shift **** could kill someone if thrown with little effort. I guess it just needs some time to get used to...

In your DB, I think those would be nice matches.

I'm getting the shift **** today, but yeah the e-brake felt like it only weighed 4 or 5 ounces tops. That means the shift **** will probably be even lighter.

Just to let you guys know the e-brake is on sale here for only $55.00

http://www.ltbmotorsports.com/mopitlaalebh.html

ground shipping is $7.95, so you're looking at $62.95 shipped.

I paid $86 shipped and that was already a good deal.

I was way off on that, the Shifter probably weighs twice as much as the e-brake. Makes sense though, the e-brake **** is pretty hollow where the shift **** isn't.

is your shift **** all chrome metal? or is the silver part that wraps around it leather. I think maybe why mine feels so light is because I got one that had black wrapped around it and that was a leatherish type of material.

I was originally going to get the Chrome metal but decided to get the brushed aluminum. The top and bottom accents are chrome. But it definitely has a good quality weight feel, if that makes sense.
