its the gap below ur aftermarket deck when its installed, i think people just leave their remote in there, lol
i was just wondering, how long does it take to install that thing??

Scosche is one of two manufactures of double-din dash kits (trim bezels) for the 350Z. Metra is another one. The lower pocket is available for whatever if you are installing a single-din head unit.
To properly remove the old head unit, install the new bezel and re-install the new head unti, it will probably take 1 to 1-1/2 hours if you have the wiring harness already pre-made. Otherwise it could take much longer.
Check more posts in the Audio, Video & Electronics section for more info.
IMO the Scosche kit is not as good as the Metra kit.

I can believe 20-30 min to install just the lower pocket into a Scosche bezel.
The time I quoted, as outlined in my post, was for the complete HU conversion including the new trim bezel and wiring.
