Looking at that picture it seems I bought the wheels, front and sides from you Andy at Performance in addition to just about everything else on the car!

AND.... HELL NO! No canards! Canards belong on airplanes, and that's where they will stay! I am the founding father of the "Say No To Canards" club!

I would love to be VP of that club - I think it ruins the otherwise clean lines of the bumper

I actually don't think you need to paint the center part black either - looks fine as it is IMHO

 

Looks awesome Jet. Congrats! I think that is the best bodykit for the Z today.

 

I'm about to buy a 2007 Z but may want to change the spoiler later on. Do you know if the NISMO Type-E Wing mounts directly to the holes of the OE spoiler?

 

I don't have the wing with me at thew house. It is at the body shop. I am going to pick it up next week. I can tell you then.

Paint the original black nismo accents on the bumper and get the canards and you're golden.

I think Larry and I are both squarely in the "no canards" and "no lower painted lip" camp

That's hot. Usually I like carnards, but in this case, canards would destroy the smooth look that it has right now. Keep it as is, no carnards.

You should install the type-E, those wings are borderline overkill but not quite. Does the Autoshine have the air duct included like Nismo's? BTW, those wheels are absolutely SICK. Can you PM. me with specs. and where you bought them? I'm sort of losing intrest in my GT-7's, Thanks.

The Shine Auto bumper does have the air duct included. The wheels are ADVAN RS. 19X9 +22, and 19X10 +25. I bought them from Performance Nissan. I really like the way it looks without the wing.

As for cannards... I am not against them. But I like the clean OE look I have going. If I were to install the Type E wing then I would have gone with the cannards.
