Default Greddy Lip 'pockets'

The Greddy lip has this indentation ... or ... pocket. In the ad it looks like an opening. In real life it is a .. recess. Has anyone used this for anything? Open up and put in wire mesh? Put in .. donno .. fog lights or somewhat? Just curious.

foglights that low would be worthless/liable to crack due to rocks and such IMO. I think most members just cut out the hole. it would be hard to run any type of air ducting to your brakes or intake being that the openings are lower than your underpanel.

JUst don't paint inside. It'll look like an opening with the back peice inside the pocket flat black.

I had the GREDDY lip for my DC5-R, and it was open. It looked kinda funny, almost cheap, cause you could see the ground right through it. I often wished it was closed like how the Greddy lip is on the G35 and 350Z. I already had brake cooling ducts in the bumper, so I wasn't looking for that.
